Woolworths SEEDS Level 2
Offers real responsibility and support in a supermarket retail environment. Ākonga become part of a friendly
in-store team and gain confidence and pride in their work.
Hospice Retail With Purpose Level 2
Students join Hospice retail stores where every action contributes to supporting free hospice care in local
communities. This pathway builds empathy, communication skills, confidence, and a sense of purpose
in ākonga.
Mitre10 Gateway Level 2
A welcoming introduction to the hardware and home improvement sector. Students assist across customer service,
stock control, product handling, and workplace routines. Mitre10 teams are supportive and hands-on, making this
a great fit for ākonga who enjoy practical tasks and community environments.
Reece Gateway Level 2
This programme introduces students to a real workplace where teamwork, confidence, and practical skills grow
daily. Reece branches offer a structured introduction to trade retail and supply chain environments. Students work
with Branch Champions through weekly rotations to build confidence in customer service, stock handling, team
communication, and professional routines. This programme is ideal for ākonga who learn best by doing and benefit
from consistent guidance in a supportive team.
Grocery Local FMCG Level 2
Supermarket experience grounded in community and teamwork.
Students join local grocery or supermarket teams helping with store presentation, produce rotation,
customer support and daily workflow. This programme creates a gentle pathways into work, helping ākonga grow
reliability, communication and confidence.
Retail Essentials Level 2
This programme provides a supportive introduction to customer service and retail environments. It helps
ākonga (students) learn core skills such as communication, product knowledge, safe work practices,
and teamwork. With flexible placement options, ākonga are matched with workplaces that suit their interests
and strengths.
