Culinary Standards Level 2 and 3

Our Culinary Standards support ākonga to develop practical kitchen skills.
At Level 2, ākonga learn safe kitchen practice, knife handling, and core cooking methods through guided, hands on learning.
At Level 3, ākonga build on these skills by preparing a wider range of dishes and gaining a stronger understanding of ingredients and kitchen processes.
A pathway designed to strengthen confidence and consistent performance in a commercial kitchen environment.
